  • Jumbo Jim - He had them in 1988. Even the Bush administration has since renounced his having WMD's. The Select Committee on Intelligence's report of Sept. 2006 was presented to Bush and clearly states the errors that were made.

  • Journalism vs. law degree? Mayor of a town of 6700??? I was CEO of an association of 7500 and think her mayor experience is a joke when you think that she could be called upon replace McCain.

  • Beverly needs to amend her comment. Palins have been listed on the Alaskan Independent Party registration - and their motto is "Alaska First". They advocate that Alaskan should be separated of the United States and become its own country.

  • I am not a liberal woman and I have no woe-is-me issue. My issue is a v.p. candidate whose resume needs to include city council experience of a small town as her qualifying experience.

  • It is humorous that many think that a journalism degree combined with 3 years on city council of a tiny town, 6 as it's mayor and less than a year as governor of a city about the size of Cleveland, Oh - is more qualified than a law degree and experience as a Senator.

  • I am saddened at the depth to which a candidate would sink. McCain's reckless maverick reputation is validated in his total disregard for the future of our country, should he die in office. He may be satisfying his fetish for beauty contestants - but that's about it!
